loging in if your acount's disabled

does anyone know if you can still log on if your acount is disabled? I'm asking because I noticed that one of the users on here, teardrop, has been loging in, but in her profile, it says her acount is disabled.

that's tear drop not teardrop. the one without the space has been disabled, whereas the other hasn't. Just letting you know.

You can read board posts without logging in, but if your account is disabled you shouldn't be able to log in.

um that would take away the point of disabling accounts?

i agree with lorrie. the word " disable" is just another term for closing the acount

the account isn't actually closed on here, as the number of the disabled user cannot be reallicated. the account is just left dormant. still there, but unused.

yeah that's true, what i meant though is that the acount is, well, yeah it's closed. just cos it's not removed, does not mean it is still working. disabled acounts don't work, so in theory they are closed

Um, Yuriko, the original poster explained the reason for her question.
As it turned out, there was one Teardrop with a space in between, and one without.
Maybe you should concentrate on your reading skills and not your smart-alic skills. Yes, I know who you are. I've read these smart board posts of yours.
Be nice!

um, rdfreak, relax little one. i was referring to post 3, she said if your account is disabled you shouldn't be able to log in, and i added that it would take away the point of disabling accounts.
maybe before telling me to concentrate on whatever skills i have you should concentrate on your reading skills instead of preaching to people all the time about being nice and how to do it. just saying.
good, you know who i am, means that you're smart too after all, here's a cookie.

Agreed with Lory. That was a bit rude and preachy of you, RDFreak.

Disabled, closed, inactive, all the same thing. Although it might be amusing to let people log in but not actually use any of the features of the sight, just out of cruel irony or something. They could see their points and stuff, see the quicknote edit box but not be able to send or anything. I'd do that even though it'd be a bitch to code.

lol brandan, that would take away the point of disabling acounts.

and rachel?, chill out all ready?. tear drop is not the only one, you will find with the user blackbird there is one with, and 1 with out a space. i am sure there are others, but at this moment in time i can't be asked to check the profiles, okay i checked the new members, but that's it

Lol, it always amuses me when somebody clearly missing the point attempts the superior atitude, and ends up looking a little bit ridiculous. And "yes, i know who you are"...and you're posts are usually that thumb firmly up rectum retarded.

This whole thing is getting stupid now. Someone asked a question, and the question was answered. She or he thought someone who had their account disabled was still coming on here, and it was explained there are two people with very similar user names. There's really no need to keep going on about it.

And Lori, I was just explaining that one can read boards without being logged in. I'm not sure why I felt the need to make that point, but your answering post was not really clear either. I didn't know it was addressed to me until you pointed it out to Rachel, so you weren't as clear as you thought you were.
